Accidentally
I walked in
On your fantasy
Got caught in
Your snare
For I was unaware
Of your lunacy

I felt swallowed
Like a circle
In a square
As hard as I tried
To burst free
You would not
Let me be
Not even to breathe

Your delusions
Drove me to madness
And I got caught up
In your fake happiness
My own dreams
Were pushed aside
And my goals
Went to hide
Never to be seen

This caged bird
Struggled within
For she had
No reason to sing
