Love

Love is . . .
An intense emotion?
So are Lust, Anger, Hate.

* When passions are overflowing
And the juices get going
They call it love.
When (s)he makes you mad
And sometimes a little sad
This too is deemed love.
They’ve got to be kidding!
* You hate and debate
Have highs and lows
At ridiculous rates
Man this love thing blows.
But wait!
* A satisfied feeling
A sense of completion
Two halves of a whole
Two united souls
This is quite a feeling
Yes love can bring great healing.
