Still Innocent?

For though many things
Have been shown to me,
I am still innocent.

Of the world and
My Mother Earth,
I know not her scent.
How old do I have to be,
To learn of things like these?
Who will teach them to me?

For I am still innocent
And want to know
Which way who, what, where went.

For I am still waiting –
Waiting to be freed
By age and consent.
I am still waiting for
The bliss of innocence
To clear and show
What is really there.
